A Passion for Perfect Bread
Sweet Rise began with a simple belief: that great bread takes time. Founded by Maria and James Chen in 2018, our little bakery on Hawthorne started with just a wood-fired oven and a 50-year-old sourdough starter.
Today, we've grown to serve hundreds of happy customers daily, but our methods haven't changed. Every loaf is still shaped by hand, every croissant still laminated with real European butter, and every cake still decorated with care.
